Samsung Milky Way S II (Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile)

Samsung Milky Way S II

Hands-on With The Samsung Milky Way S II (Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile)

Delayed by a day due to Hurricane Irene, Samsung at last voiced the let go of the new Milky Way S II in the United States at the Samsung Experience in New York City. While the phenomenon was a bit anticlimactic (more than 5 million units have already shipped worldwide), it was the initial chance to take the hardware for a spin, and you were cheerful to oblige. We can inform that the new device looks nothing similar to any iPhone we’ve ever seen.

In the video below, Samsung tech Vance takes us by a few of the new and engaging features of the Milky Way S II, initial by comparing the ATT chronicle to the Sprint one (T-Mobile’s wasn’t nonetheless ready for hands-on). He then shows off the camera, TouchWiz interface, Video Maker software and the Samsung Media Hub.

Our initial impressions are positive; the phone is thin, light, swift and has a large splendid screen. Some of the new TouchWiz functionality was cool-looking, but we’re not certain if we’d find its periodic use practical. We look deliver to getting more time with one really soon.
