The Computer Network Engineering Technology can prepare you for a career working with computer local and wide area networks. You will learn basic computer electronic theory; to install new computer equipment; how to operate a computer; to program computers; to repair computer electronic hardware; and to install, maintain, and repair data communication networks. This technology is available as a degree, diploma, or certficate.

Program Mission
The mission of the Computer Engineering Technology Department is to provide a comprehensive education that will enable students to succeed in their future educational and career goals. The department is committed to providing a firm background in electronics with specific skills in computer- oriented topics, such as computer troubleshooting, data communications, and computer software. In addition, related technical disciplines are provided that will develop a student’s technological skills and problem solving abilities. The department also is committed to providing students with the skills and theoretical foundations necessary to pursue a career in this field or continue their education at the baccalaureate level.
